IT Application Engineer

Follow up on the system development and the maintenance to maximize the system's benefit and reduce the cost, ensure the developments are consistent with global IT guidelines and standards, especially on the system security

Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation of information systems and their operational environments; conduct investigations, troubleshooting, and resolution of system defects and anomalies.

Perform simple secondary development to meet specific business needs

Follow the web security vulnerability assessment procedures and implement the plan for remediation measure

Willing to provide helpdesk support based on IT team workload requirements.

Keep a passion for new technologies and be interested in learning, discovering, and leveraging their value for the business

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field

5+ years of work experience in business application development, programming, analysis, and support; Be familiar with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL

Programming Experience in website design/development, be familiar with ASP.Net or Java, VBA, and MS Sharepoint development

Deployment skills of Apache, NGINX, IIS, API, database, and OS on Alibaba Cloud and VM platform

Good communication, cooperation, and service awareness

Be familiar with Docker, Linux, WeChat mini program, and AI development tools

Be able to write and speak English, Japanese is a plus
