In June 2021, Cognizant completed the acquisition of ESG Mobility, leading to the renaming of ESG Automotive Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. to Cognizant Mobility (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in September 2021. This entity now offers engineering services to eight out of the world's top ten automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
