Windows to Global Trade is located in the heart of Haikou's Central Business District (CBD). It serves as the first carrier of Hainan’s “Hundreds of Nations and Thousands of Enterprises” initiative and the designated gathering place for international organizations, overseas institutions, and enterprises by the Hainan provincial government.

The project has established the Hainan International Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Cooperation Platform and the High-tech Premium Exhibition and Trading Center, creating a comprehensive one-stop business service system. This system offers a range of professional services including business registration, international visas, talent recruitment, tax consultations, international notarization, and legal services to meet the operational and developmental needs of various enterprises.

It supports the development of two headquarters bases: one for Chinese enterprises entering Southeast Asian and other overseas markets, and another for enterprises from these regions entering the Chinese market. Additionally, it fosters three platforms: an incubation platform for global small and medium-sized trading enterprises, a platform connecting global trading enterprises with business opportunities in the Chinese market, and a demonstration platform showcasing service trade in the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The Windows to Global Trade project has served over 500 overseas organizations and enterprises from more than 30 countries and has hosted over 120 delegations from around the world.
