Brose Sitech (Shanghai) Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. was established on January 1, 2022, as a joint venture between Sitech (Shanghai) Automotive Seating Co., Ltd. and Brose, the fourth-largest family-owned company in the global automotive parts industry. Based in Poland, the company employs nearly 5,000 people worldwide across Poland, Germany, China, and the Czech Republic.
The predecessor of this company, Sitech (Shanghai) Automotive Seating Co., Ltd., was founded in June 2004 in the Baoshan City Industrial Park, Shanghai. It was primarily funded by German Sitech Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 150 million RMB. Adopting a modern management system, the company integrates management strategies from German Sitech and Chinese shareholders. Its main clients are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and its core business involves supplying Just-In-Time (JIT) products, metal structures, and components. The company has achieved certifications including IATF16949 quality system, ISO14001 environmental system, and national CCC certification. In June 2009, it received SAIC-VW grade A supplier certification and was subsequently designated as a Baoshan District Technology Center and a Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise.
