ING-BOB Life Insurance Company Limited (formerly known as ING Capital Life) was established in Dalian, combining the strength of ING Insurance, a part of the globally respected diversified financial conglomerate ING Group, and Bank of Beijing, China's most promising city-based commercial bank. Currently, the company boasts a registered capital of 1.3 billion RMB.

Established in late 2002, ING-BOB was the pioneering joint venture life insurer in the northeast region of China following China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO). In June 2010, Bank of Beijing successfully acquired the shares held by Beijing Capital Group, transforming into an equal shareholder alongside ING Group, holding a 50% stake each in the joint insurance company. Consequently, ING-BOB Life Insurance Company Limited was officially renamed.

Headquartered in Dalian, ING-BOB has expanded its operations with six branches located in Beijing, Liaoning, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, and Dalian, positioning itself as a leading joint venture life insurer in the Bohai Rim economic zone and actively exploring opportunities in central China. The company plans to further establish more subsidiaries across various regions in China.
