Kappahl's mission centers on celebrating the multitude of expressions of daily life, aiming to redefine diversity to encompass various lifestyles that inspire individuals to remain authentic to their core selves. Originating from Gothenburg, Sweden in 1953, the Kappahl Group has grown into a prominent Nordic fashion brand, now operating approximately 360 Kappahl and Newbie outlets across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, and the UK, as well as an extensive online presence in over 20 European markets.
Our team of about 4,000 members from nine countries, each with diverse personal histories, age groups, skill sets, and styles, share a unified drive: to offer versatile, life-friendly fashion for a broad spectrum of consumers and lifestyles. We prioritize "Responsible Fashion," ensuring that our garments not only suit the wearer but also align with our commitment to environmental sustainability. Currently, over 80% of our products are crafted from eco-friendlier materials, with a target of achieving 100% sustainable sourcing by 2025. Moreover, Kappahl is dedicated to reducing its carbon footprint, aiming to cut the climate emissions of our entire supply chain by half by 2030.
