AUD was originally established in 2003 by Mr. Guo Nu and Drone Iyangar in Los Angeles, USA. In 2009 the name was changed to AUD (Architecture + Urban Design Consulting Inc.), and branch offices in Texas and Shanghai were set up. Founder Mr. Guo Nu has been involved in many institutional projects such as: Beijing Observatory, Shanghai XinJiangWan Cultural Museum, LA Live, Grammy Museum and China Technology Museum etc. In the commercial buildings sector, he designed CRC MixC projects in Chongqing, Qingdao, Chengdu, and many other high-end commercial mixed use developments. And he provided professional consulting service to major real estate developers. With the rich cultural heritage, knowledge and experience from overseas, AUD is striving to create innovative modern Chinese architecture which will speak to the rest of the world.
