The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) represents the world's largest automotive industry association, founded in 1982. Currently, it boasts over 5,000 corporate members, encompassing leading entities like BYD, Geely, Tesla, Ford, GM, Stellantis, PACCAR, Jaguar Land Rover, NIO, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Polaris, Rivian, Boeing, Volkswagen, Volvo Trucks, Zoox, John Deere, Caterpillar, Hino, Bosch, ZF, Magna, Continental, Yanfeng, Lear, Aptiv, Adient, among others. AIAG is continuously expanding its membership base in China and Asia. It holds exclusive copyright for substantial industry-quality standards, such as IATF 16949, APQP/PPAP, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, AIAG & VDA FMEA, CQI series, and will soon implement additional standards related to AI Management Systems, software, cyber security, ESG/Carbon, customs, packaging, etc.

Given China's status as the world's largest automotive market, with the highest number of OEM brands, production volume, electric vehicle exports, suppliers, IATF 16949-certified sites, SQEs, and quality engineers, AIAG aims to extend its influence not only within the automotive sector but also into adjacent industries including railroads, aerospace, healthcare, services, IT, transportation, and more.
