"FAW Car Co., Ltd.", more commonly known as "FAW Sedan", is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FAW Group Corporation, a leading Chinese automotive manufacturer. It is one of the key enterprises within the group dedicated to developing and manufacturing自主品牌乘用车.

Established on June 28, 2019, FAW Sedan's predecessor, FAW Sedan Co., Ltd., was founded on June 10, 1997. The company boasts a sprawling campus of approximately 2,210,000 square meters with a construction area of about 980,000 square meters, employing around 8,818 staff members. Its production capabilities include an annual capacity of 410,000 passenger vehicles, 650,000 engines, and 165,600 transmissions.

Currently, the company is organized into 12 departments (Strategic Planning & Projects Department, FAW Teng Development Institute, Product Planning Department, Engineering Technology Department, Procurement Department, Financial Control Department, Manufacturing Logistics Department, Quality Assurance Department, Human Resources Department, General Administration Department, Party and Mass Work Department, Discipline Inspection and Supervision Department), alongside a Powertrain Base (Powertrain Center) and two subsidiaries: FAW Sedan Sales Co., Ltd., and FAW Mazda Sales Co., Ltd.

The product lineup includes FAW Teng and FAW Mazda passenger car series. FAW Teng currently offers five SUV models for sale - T99, T77, T33, X80, and X40, along with three sedan models: B30EV, B50, and B30. FAW Mazda, on the other hand, primarily sells the Mazda Atenza and CX-4.
