In 1956, the LAPP Group headquarters was established in Stuttgart, Germany. Since Mr. Oscar Lapp, the company founder, invented the world's first control cable for industrial use in 1957, after more than half a century of development, LAPP’s main products include OLFLEX Power and Control cables for industrial use below 1kV, UNITRONIC Data Communication Systems, ETHERLINE Data communication systems for Ethernet technology, HITRONIC Optical transmission systems, EPIC Industrial connectors, SKINTOP Cable glands, SILVYN Protective cable conduit systems and cable carrier systems, FLEXIMARK Marking systems, and other tools and cable accessories. The company has branches in Beijing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan, Shenyang, Tianjin, Suzhou, Taicang, Shenzhen, and other locations, aiming to provide customers with better, more efficient, and more convenient services. LAPP Cable Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was founded in 2012 to develop and produce localized products.
