Welcome to HQIS
HQIS first opened as an international school in 1997 at the Shanghai Zoo, with just two classes and 18 students.
Since then, the student body has grown, and facilities have expanded, reaching full capacity of 400 students at HQIS-RBIS since 2010.
Today, HQIS celebrates its relocation to a new, purpose-built campus in the Gubei area of Shanghai, with further expansion plans.
HQIS continues to grow. For nearly two decades, the early childhood program has been a hallmark of international education in the city. HQIS will graduate its first high school class in 2020.
