Since establishing our Xiamen factory in 2013, Weldtone has quickly adapted to market demands and technological upgrades, focusing on product development and addressing industry challenges. We were among the first to promote adhesive jetting technology for LCM edge bonding to achieve ultra-narrow bezels in mobile phones. Our efforts have resulted in a series of reliable and efficient structural adhesives tailored to meet various customer needs.
After more than ten years of rapid growth, Weldtone has earned significant recognition and high market acclaim, establishing long-term partnerships with renowned brands.
Our development timeline:
- In 2009, we initiated the development of PUR hot melt adhesives.
- In 2013, we set up our Xiamen factory, applied PUR hot melt adhesives in mobile and tablet assembly, and established offices in Tianjin, Shanghai, and Dongguan.
- In 2014, we formed strategic partnerships with Lenovo and Xiaomi, becoming a leading local brand for PUR hot melt adhesives.
- In 2015, we started structural bonding technology and collaborated with OPPO and Vivo, becoming a leader in our niche market.
- In 2016, we pioneered LCM full-screen narrow-bezel adhesive jetting technology and LCM side-sealing technology, expanding our client base to include BOE and Tianma.
- In 2017, we expanded our Xiamen R&D center and established a Shanghai R&D center, beginning collaborations with Samsung and other international brands.
- In 2018, we developed new technologies for Amazon.
