Hangzhou Gaoxi Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise, established in 2016, with a registered capital of 66 million yuan and a research and development center of 10,000 square meters. The company adheres to the "3T" business philosophy of "First", "Best", "Most", and is committed to the R&D, production, and technical services of single-layer graphene and its macro-assembly materials.
The company has strong scientific research capabilities, with more than 200 Chinese invention patents, over 10 international invention patents, and more than 10 provincial-level industrial new products. It has successfully developed the "1+3+3" industrial chain technology and products of graphene, namely, using single-layer graphene oxide as the core, producing three mass-produced materials (graphene multifunctional composite fiber, graphene electric heating film, graphene thermal film), and three strategic reserve technologies (graphene-based carbon fiber, graphene aerogel, graphene optoelectronic chip). Its applications have broad prospects, and it has obtained the certification from the International Graphene Product Certification Center (IGCC) for single-layer graphene oxide and single-layer graphene oxide modified functional nylon fiber. The single-layer graphene oxide modified functional fiber won the 2021 Global Graphene Product Innovation Award (the "Oscars" of graphene) by the Graphene Alliance.
The founder of the company, Professor Gao Chao, is a National Outstanding Youth Fund recipient, a National Ten Thousand Talents Program member, a Qiusi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University, a doctoral supervisor, and a globally highly cited scientist by Clarivate. He has undertaken more than ten major and key projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Military Science and Technology Commission, with funding exceeding 100 million yuan. His original research achievements were selected as one of the global influential images by Nature in 2011 and as one of the top ten scientific and technological progress news in China in 2013. The research has been equipped in aerospace major equipment and has received visits and recognition from leaders at all levels. He once participated in the 10th Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology as a science and technology representative, and was invited as one of the 20 private entrepreneurs to attend the 2021 Zhejiang Provincial Economic Work Conference. The research achievement of Professor Gao Chao's team, "Graphene Oxide Liquid Crystal and Controllable Macroscopic Assembly Materials," won the First Prize of the Zhejiang Province Natural Science Award in 2021.
Since its establishment, the company has developed rapidly in all aspects. It has been awarded as a "Hangzhou Innovation Team" and a "Yuhang District Scientific and Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise (Platform)", selected as a "2019 Hangzhou Young Eagle Enterprise", and won the "2021 Annual Outstanding Contribution Award in the Graphene Industry". It has now become a national science and technology SME and a health technology partner of the Boao Asia Forum International Science and Technology Innovation Forum.
