GCM China, a subsidiary of Thailand's PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (PTTGC), is a leading polymer sales and marketing company in Thailand. PTTGC, known as "GC", was established as a public company on October 19, 2011, as part of the PTT Group, a major player in the Thai chemical industry. The roots of GC can be traced back to a merger of several prominent companies, including National Petrochemical Co. Ltd., in February 1984.

In line with the Paris Agreement, GC has delineated a clear roadmap and invested strategically in the "Together to Net Zero" initiative, transitioning to a low-carbon business model through a three-pronged Low Carbon Transition Framework. This approach aims to uplift the quality of life for all stakeholders by reducing current greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2030, marking a pivotal step towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
