the mercedes-benz arena has a floor area of 160,000 m2 and will serve as a comprehensive entertainment and culture center featuring various events such as international live performances, sports, and art shows. with a seating capacity of 18,000, it is the first multi-functional arena in shanghai equipped with a standard nba game court, international ice hockey games, and ice shows. additionally, it includes a music club, a six-screen cinema, a public ice skating rink, multiple restaurants with scenic views, and nearly 20,000 m2 of retail and entertainment spaces.
