WeEn Semiconductors Co. Ltd., a global joint venture between NXP Semiconductors B.V. and Beijing JianGuang Asset Management Co. Ltd. (JAC Capital), was established with its holding registered in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province. Operations commenced in January 2016, with the operational headquarters located in Shanghai. The company owns wholly-owned subsidiaries and branches, including front-end fabrication facilities in Jilin, northeastern China; a warehouse and distribution center in Hong Kong; and R&D centers in Shanghai and Manchester, UK. Sales offices and customer service access are available worldwide. In September 2018, WeEn inaugurated a new, in-house reliability and failure analysis laboratory in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.

With over 50 years of experience, WeEn is a significant player in the semiconductor industry, focusing on developing industry-leading bipolar power products such as thyristors (comprising silicon-controlled rectifiers and triacs), silicon power diodes, high-voltage transistors, and silicon carbide diodes. These products are widely utilized in telecommunications, computers, consumer electronics, smart home appliances, lighting, automotive, and power management applications. The company aims to enhance cost and production efficiencies for customers and contribute to the advancement of intelligent manufacturing in China and globally.
