Adhering to the principle of steady progress, after 15 years, despite setbacks, we have grown stronger and currently operate several international brands including Bar Rouge, Mr & Mrs. Bund, Ultraviolet, Pu Ben, and The Cut. Mr&Mrs Bund Modern Eatery By Paul Pairet
Launched in April 2009, this modern French restaurant offers a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere in a location steeped in history on the Bund. Mr&Mrs Bund is a French restaurant that reflects the style of Chef Paul Pairet: born in France, traveled the world, and marked by an international touch. It is contemporary yet never dull, casual yet always elegant. We offer popular French signature dishes reimagined by Pairet. Family-style service complements the modern dining environment, with a rich wine list. Known for classic cuisine and cozy dishes, the serving style at Mr&Mrs Bund mirrors a family dinner on a Sunday evening—shared, with portions generous enough for seconds.
Bar Rouge
Opened in November 2004 on the top floor of Bund 18, Bar Rouge heralded a new era for nightlife in Shanghai. As one of the city's most fashionable entertainment venues, it quickly became one of Shanghai's hottest bars. Featuring a renowned French mixologist, eye-catching interior design, and Shanghai's hottest DJs, Bar Rouge has become a must-visit spot for enjoying nightlife in Shanghai. The bar’s design allows guests to both admire and be admired. This is the center of Shanghai's night life—exclusive, filled with party music, trendy cocktails, sexy people, and a sense of joy! Bar Rouge Singapore opened in 2017 on the 71st floor of Swissotel The Stamford, the highest-floor bar in Asia, located in the busiest city in Asia, offering a panoramic view of Marina Bay. It aims to provide a visual, auditory, and club experience that helps guests relax from their busy work lives.
UltraViolet By Paul Pairet
After more than 15 years of conceptual preparation, chef Paul Pairet created UltraViolet under the support of VOL GROUP, which opened in 2012.
She is the world's first unique restaurant that cannot be classified as a sensory multi-organ restaurant, combining food with multiple perception technologies to create an immersive dining experience.
A table with only ten seats, a "forward-thinking" set menu of 20 courses. All guests sit together, and this extraordinary journey begins here, led by food. Each dish is paired with a scenario atmosphere tailored to its taste, combining elements such as lighting, sound effects, music, scents, flowing comfortable air, immersive visual projections, images, and imagination... Of course, there is also the food. UltraViolet opened on May 18, 2012, in a certain location in Shanghai.
The Cut Steak & Fries
Opened in April 2014 on the 6th floor of IAPM, The Cut Steak & Fries focuses on steak, providing affordable luxury with quality steaks at friendly prices. The restaurant's overall design style combines sharp edges, modern fashion, international urban elements with rural charm, even agricultural elements. It also features a rare salad bar in Shanghai, offering over 20 types of vegetables and salads daily, aiming to bring the farm atmosphere into the city. The rooftop of The Cut at level 7 overlooks Xiangyang Park, allowing customers to enjoy the skyline of Jing'an District. In addition to basic steaks and grilled meats, there is charming music and DJs, aiming to provide everyone in this bustling city with a place to escape from busyness and stress. Don't forget to come to TCR after work for a delightful craft cocktail!
The Cut opened a branch in Sanlitun, Beijing in 2018, hoping to share the diverse Western cuisine of Shanghai with Beijing.
Pu Ben
Located on the riverside of the old wharf at the Bund, diners at Pu Ben can enjoy creative cuisine while appreciating the scenery of the Huangpu River. Zhuangzi said: "Simplicity, and nothing in the world can rival its beauty." The culinary concept of Pu Ben aligns perfectly with the simplicity and naturalness of Zhuangzi's philosophy. Everything in the world is the essence of simplicity, so why not cooking fine delicacies? Even if we have tasted all kinds of delicious and visually appealing gourmet dishes, what remains deeply imprinted in our hearts, seeps into our souls, and cannot be forgotten even after a long time are often simple and plain, requiring no complex cooking techniques, nor rare ingredients.
The name "Pu Ben" was born under such a concept. "Pu" refers to unpolished jade, like unprocessed raw ingredients, symbolizing purity and elegance; "Ben" is a recipe book that Mr. Liang Zigen has cherished for many years, a so-called culinary secret manual praised by the world, recording inspirations and creative recipes he gathered over more than 30 years of traveling across China, reflecting his inheritance of traditional Chinese culinary culture and spirit.
