Micron Semiconductor Technology (Shanghai), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Micron Technology—one of the world’s leading memory semiconductor manufacturers—houses one of Micron's many global design sites. Leveraging advanced process technology and a world-class design and verification environment, our Shanghai design center develops cutting-edge semiconductor products and solutions for today's most advanced computing and communication requirements. Our product portfolio spans a wide range of applications in consumer electronics, networking devices, and computing servers. Our mission is to support Micron's growth both in China and globally by delivering customized silicon solutions that meet market demands.

Micron's factory in Xi'an, China, dedicated to testing and packaging, has seen robust growth in local infrastructure, support services, workforce size, manufacturing equipment, capacity, product lines, and production efficiency.

Additionally, Micron maintains two research and development centers in Shanghai. One, located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone in Pudong, focuses on the development of parallel NOR and eMMC products as well as NAND design validation. The other, situated in the Caohejing Development Zone, specializes in DRAM design using leading-edge process technologies, along with software development for SSDs and eMMC products. These two centers complement each other, offering strong support to mobile and consumer electronic device manufacturers in Asia.

Furthermore, Micron's System Engineering Lab in Shanghai provides practical and real-time product development and interactive exchanges, helping clients optimize their storage systems.
