It was back in 1860 when brothers Giuseppe and Egidio Berto opened the doors of the *** store in Bovolenta. By 1887, the Berto group had established itself in the textile business with the production of Venetian boat sails and other textiles for home decor. Starting from 1900, the textile production shifted to creating clothing articles until the decision in 1960 to dedicate a special section to produce garments using the fabrics of the textile factory.
