Headquartered in Shanghai, CA-CIB (China) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.

History:
- 1898: The first branch was established in Shanghai by Banque de l'Indochine (later known as Banque Indosuez).
- 1981: The first representative office was opened in Beijing by Credit Lyonnais.
- 2004: CA CIB Corporate and Investment Bank was formed through the merger of Credit Agricole Indosuez and the investment and financing division of Credit Lyonnais (BFI), becoming 100% owned by Credit Agricole SA group.
- 2009: CA CIB (China) Limited was registered as a local bank in China.
