Howmet Aerospace Components (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., established in July 2004 in the Export Processing Zone B of the Suzhou Industrial Park, covers an area of 50,000 square feet with an investment of US$60 million. The company has introduced advanced equipment and technology to establish a complete seamless rolled ring production line, including cutting, forging, ring rolling, heat treatment, and machining processes.
In 2013, the company invested 20 million yuan in fixed assets to build a new flexible manufacturing system. In 2016, the company approved an investment of 180 million yuan in fixed assets, completing the construction of the second phase factory building in August 2017. The installation of the second production line was completed by June 2019, achieving sales revenue of 480 million yuan in 2017, a 20% increase from the previous year. The company received the title of "Top Employer in Greater Suzhou" in 2019.
