About SEC-KSB

SEC-KSB is a joint venture established by SEC and KSB in September 2008, with SEC holding a 55% stake. The company specializes in designing, engineering, manufacturing, assembling, testing, and providing after-sales services for pumps and valves used in nuclear power plants, covering reactor coolant pumps (nuclear class 1) and nuclear class 2 & 3 pumps and valves for nuclear islands, as well as pumps and valves for conventional islands.

Certified under ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001, and ASME Code, SEC-KSB has also obtained the Design and Manufacturing Licenses for Civil Nuclear Safety Class 1, 2, and 3 Pumps from NNSA.

Since commencing operations at the end of 2011, SEC-KSB has produced and delivered over 200 sets of nuclear and conventional pumps, including four reactor coolant pumps (RSR) for the Hainan Changjiang NPP, residual heat removal pumps, condensate pumps, and auxiliary pumps for the AP1000 Sanmen and Haiyang projects, and charging pumps, residual heat removal pumps, low-pressure injection/safety containment spray pumps, and condensate pumps for the HPR1000 Fuqing Unit 5.

The company is currently on schedule to manufacture six reactor coolant pumps (RSR) for the Zhangzhou Units 1 & 2 - China's first HPR1000 reactors post-technology integration. Additionally, SEC-KSB will provide wet-wound motor reactor coolant pumps (RUV) for the CAP1400 demonstration project, with the full-scale prototype completing final qualification tests in July 2019. The company is also actively developing CAP1000/CAP1700 50Hz RUVs.

SEC-KSB aims to develop independent technology and intellectual property, along with internationalized procurement and manufacturing, to offer customers comprehensive and reliable nuclear pump and valve products.
