A significant part of the company's workforce has been with ClearFreight since its inception, forming the core of its operations and customer support management. The organization boasts a multilingual team with diverse cultural backgrounds, facilitating effective client assistance and navigating the complexities of international trade.
ClearFreight expanded with a Los Angeles office in 1975, which later served as its corporate headquarters. In 1985, in response to its clients' demands, the company introduced an export division, adding outbound transportation services alongside its import traffic and customs brokerage offerings. This led to the establishment of a robust global infrastructure capable of delivering comprehensive logistics and transportation services door-to-door.
In 1992, ClearFreight was acquired by Sankyo Transportation Co. Ltd., a Japanese third-party logistics provider specializing in brokerage, freight forwarding, warehousing, and terminal operations worldwide. This acquisition enabled the opening of offices in Seattle (1992), Detroit (1996), and Chicago (1998), further extending its service reach to US shippers and European consignees. Offices were subsequently established in Rotterdam (1999), Amsterdam (2000), and New York (2000).
To cater to South and Central American markets, a Miami branch was inaugurated in 2001. Following this, offices in Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta were opened in 2009, enhancing coverage across the USA. In 2014, ClearFreight expanded its operations into Asia and Canada through acquisitions, establishing presences in major cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dalian, and Xiamen, and inaugurating its first Canadian office in Toronto.
In 2018, ClearFreight established its first Latin American office in Santiago, Chile, reinforcing its commitment to supporting clients' international expansion efforts.
Since 1979, ClearFreight has pioneered advancements in automation, embracing technologies such as the Automated Broker Interface (ABI), Automated Clearing House (ACH), Automated Manifest System (AMS), and Automated Export System (AES). The company also adopted the ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) one-window view, enhancing its technological capabilities.
Offering 24/7 shipment tracking through its online web tool, ClearFreight provides real-time data visibility, enabling clients to manage critical supply chain milestones efficiently. Founded in 1986, Foshan Huaquan Electrical Lighting Co., Ltd. is located in Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, covering over 100,000 square meters. With more than 1,000 employees, it specializes in producing six major product categories: lighting appliances, fixtures, LED and HID light sources, residential solar power systems, solar street lights, and residential solar lighting.
