The first edition of A@W took place in 2003 in Belgium. Thanks to the overwhelming success of this unique concept, the event was expanded to France, Germany and the Netherlands to overwhelming receptions. Today, more than 20 editions of A@W have taken place throughout Europe, with more than 2,000 carefully selected exhibitors having presented their ideas and innovations to in excess of 20,000 architects, designers and other industry professionals. In 2012 the very first Asian edition of A@W took place in Shanghai. With 100 local and international brands and more than 8,000 visitors, the event was an overwhelming success.
