The School of Management at Zhejiang University specializes in two primary disciplines under the management umbrella: Management Science & Engineering (MSE) and Business Administration (BA). These disciplines are recognized with MSE being a national key subject and BA as a provincial key subject. The School offers doctoral programs in both primary areas, along with specialized PhD programs in Entrepreneurship Management and Technology & Innovation Management. Additionally, it boasts the National Institute for Innovation Management, a premier research hub.

Moreover, the School holds the distinction of being the first Chinese business school to achieve international accreditation (AMBA in 2006), and it currently maintains accreditations from AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, with the longest valid period of five years. It is also recognized by the Ministry of Education's CAMEA for high-quality MBA education.
