Gestamp is an international group that designs, develops and manufactures metal automobile components and assemblies. Hai斯坦普 is an international group dedicated to designing, developing and producing automotive metal parts and assemblies. It specializes in developing innovative products to make vehicles lighter and safer, thus improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. We provide automotive metal parts for OEMs, mainly body chassis parts and structural components. In terms of R&D, we continue to focus on reducing vehicle weight and enhancing safety performance to continuously improve market competitiveness.

Our business covers 19 countries with nearly 100 factories, 12 R&D centers and over 30,000 employees worldwide. With years of production experience and core technology mastery, we have become one of the leading players in hot forming technology. Over the past few years, we have increased investment in this technology research and development and promoted it globally to meet the growing demand from carmakers.

Our factory in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province was established in 2008, marking our official entry into the Chinese market. Gestamp's Shanghai office was established in July 2007 and upgraded to the Asia-Pacific headquarters in 2009. Since acquiring Idex in 2010, the group has entered a rapid development phase, acquiring ThyssenKrupp Metal Forming Wuhan plant in 2011. Within just three years, five new factories were built (Chongqing plant in 2012, Shenyang plant in 2013, Kunshan Idex plant in 2013, Dongguan plant in 2014, and Kunshan plant phase II in 2014). Currently, key automotive components manufactured in China include A-pillar assemblies, B-pillar assemblies, floor reinforcement components, traction control rods, engine suspension brackets, door sills, door hinges, door limiters, automatic opening systems and driving control systems. As of 2016, our main customers included Volkswagen, Ford, Peugeot, General Motors, BMW, Geely-Volvo, Jaguar-Land Rover, Daimler, GAC, Hyundai, Honda and Renault-Nissan.

With the continuous development of Gestamp Group's business in the China region, we will establish a new factory in the Wuqing Development Zone of Tianjin City. The factory is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2017. The office address is near Quanhui Road and Yuankai Road in the Wuqing Development Zone of Tianjin City. The Tianjin factory will mainly provide efficient product solutions for customers in the Beijing-Tianjin area, such as Beijing Mercedes-Benz, Beiqi Foton, FAW-Volkswagen, FAW-Toyota, etc.
