**发展历程**
- **1997年**：公司成立，初期以贸易业务为主。
- **2000年**：老厂区建成并投入运营，实现了从贸易到生产的转型。
- **2001年**：通过了3C认证和ISO9001质量管理体系认证。
- **2002年**：成为江淮汽车集团的正式供应商。
- **2004年**：成为安徽华菱的合作伙伴。
- **2005年**：自主研发出特异形钢化技术与设备，并成为陕汽集团的重要供应商。
- **2006年**：通过了ISO/TS16949:2002质量管理体系认证和欧盟E-MARK认证，与BSH建立了合作开发关系，新厂区一期厂房竣工。

- **2011年**：新厂区二期工程完成验收并投入使用，实现了家电和汽车生产线的独立运营。

- **2013年**：与江西江铃、中国重汽、北汽建立了合作关系，成为海信、雪琪、惠而浦的供应商。

Since 1988, Star Plastics has evolved from a recycling company into one of North America’s top producers of custom compounds.
Originating from parent company SDR Plastics, which was established in 1988 as a post-industrial recycling firm, SDR worked alongside a major resin manufacturer to receive and process plastic materials destined for landfills. Thanks to SDR’s capabilities, these materials were reintroduced to the polymer market and competed with prime materials. A decade later, Star Plastics emerged, growing into the custom compounder it is today. Although Star now focuses on engineering-grade resins like Polycarbonate, ABS, and PC alloys, it continues its recycling legacy through recycled-content product lines and processes that improve material performance, properties, and value.
From its initial tolling-centric approach, Star has become one of North America’s premier producers of high-quality custom engineering compounds. While tolling services still cater to major resin manufacturers, the addition of a materials marketing group ensures Star maintains a global presence in the plastics industry.
