Schneider Shanghai Industrial Control Co., Ltd. (SSIC) is a Sino-French joint venture established in April 1996 with a total investment of $27 million. Schneider Electric holds an 80% stake, while Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Co., Ltd. (SEAC) holds 20%. SSIC is the only company in China authorized to produce Telemecanique D2 series contactors and related accessories, which are leaders in the global industrial control market. SSIC primarily manufactures the renowned Telemecanique product line, including:

- GV2 circuit breakers
- D2 series contactors
- LR2 thermal relays
- XB2B/XB2E push buttons and indicator lights
- OSI series sensors
