产品线主要分为两大类：一类为医药、农药中间体，包括泰诺福韦中间体、5-氯戊酰氯、手性环氧丙烷及丙二醇等；另一类为肉碱系列产品，如DL-肉碱盐酸盐、L-肉碱盐酸盐和L-肉碱酒石酸盐等。公司自主掌握了手性医药中间体、手性环氧氯丙烷、手性环氧丙烷等产品和昔洛它唑中间体5-氯戊酰氯等产品的核心技术，已获得手性salen催化剂、5-氯戊酰氯、3-氯丙炔等5项技术发明专利。
2011年，公司被湖南省科技厅授予“高新技术企业”称号，并于2013年5月在岳阳市科技局的支持下，成立了“岳阳市手性药物中间体工程研究中心”。
原材料主要从中国石油化工股份有限公司巴陵分公司（盐酸液碱）和山东齐鲁石化（环氧氯丙烷）等大型国有企业采购，确保供应稳定，价格相对平稳。公司所在的工业园区靠近107国道，地理位置优越，交通便利，原材料的进出和产品的运输可以选择铁路、公路或水路等多种方式。
