本企业规划的六吉瓦太阳能电池片项目分为三期建设，产能规划为一期与二期各为一吉瓦，三期则为四吉瓦。该项目于二零一七年十一月七日进驻徐州经济技术开发区，二零一八年被列为徐州市政府的重点产业项目之一。在二零一八年七月一日，企业完成了二吉瓦项目的全部外围动力设施与配套设施的建设，并成功搭建了一吉瓦多晶电池生产线，实现了正式投产的目标。
二零一九年上半段，企业投资八千万人民币，对一期的一吉瓦多晶电池片生产线进行了升级改造，并于同年七月一日完成了二期的一吉瓦单晶PERC生产线的建设与投入生产。至此，华恒二吉瓦项目的全部建设完成并投入运营。
