Founded by the Antolin family in 1959, Grupo Antolin initially focused on manufacturing steering joints and suspension ball joints. In 1967, the company shifted its focus to modular products and specialized in automotive interiors, including seating, door functions, and overhead systems. It officially became Grupo Antolin in 1985. Since the 1990s, the company has expanded internationally, entering markets in the UK, Germany, France, Portugal, the US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, India, Thailand, South Korea, and other countries.
To support its expanding business in China, Grupo Antolin China was established in September 2015 to oversee business planning and strategic implementation. The company collaborates with major clients such as Ford, VW, BMW, Nissan, Cherry, Isuzu, and others. Grupo Antolin operates five strategic business units: Door Functions, Overhead Systems, Seating, Cockpits, and Lighting. In 2014, the company reported revenues of 4.062 billion euros, covering 26 countries worldwide, with over 161 production facilities and 28,000 employees.

Changshu Automotive Interiors (CAIP Group), founded by Mr. Luo Xiaochun in 1992, is headquartered in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, and is one of the fastest-growing private manufacturers of automotive interiors. Its main clients include FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Chery Automobile, Beijing Benz, Dongfeng Citroen Peugeot, Shanghai Automotive, and Shanghai Volkswagen. The company provides door panels, instrument panels/consoles, trunk trim assemblies, hat rack assemblies, and sun visors. CAIP Group has grown significantly, establishing five wholly-owned facilities in Jiangsu Changshu, Jilin Changchun, Anhui Wuhu, and Beijing, three joint ventures, and an Automotive Technology Center. It focuses on designing, developing, and manufacturing automotive interior and exterior parts.
Currently, CAAI primarily supplies instrument panels, consoles, door panels, and A, B, C pillars to FAW-VW, Audi, Beijing Benz, Shanghai GM, Qoros, Chery-Jaguar Land Rover, and Shenyang BMW.
