The company's global headquarters is in the United States, with additional research centers located in Europe, Taiwan, and Nanjing. As an industry pioneer in CIGS (Cadmium Telluride) original technology research, Sunflare's R&D team has dedicated eight years to advancing from theoretical studies to laboratory breakthroughs, culminating in significant achievements in the production of CIGS flexible thin-film solar cells and modules. These innovations have been patented in China, the US, and Europe.
Sunflare's CIGS flexible film solar products have been deployed in numerous international projects and provide clients with comprehensive services including technical support, energy management, and more. In 2016, Sunflare established Sunflare Nanjing Energy Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on the research and development of CIGS solar products and technologies. In 2017, Sunflare (Jurong) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was founded, setting up multiple production lines for CIGS flexible cell chips and modules, enabling mass production. In April 2018, Sunflare signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Jinan University to establish the Jinan University Sunflare Solar Research Institute.
Our future strategy involves achieving a complete "Made in China" system for CIGS solar technology, encompassing raw material production, product manufacturing, and equipment fabrication. This will result in the creation of "Chinese-made CIGS solar 'chips'" to propel China's CIGS industry to the forefront of the global market, significantly reducing time-to-market and propelling overall growth in China's solar sector.
