TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING is a multinational corporation formed through the merger of the Czech company TESCAN, a leading global provider of scanning electron microscopes (SEMs) and focused ion beam workstations, and the French company ORSAY PHYSICS, a world leader in customized focused ion beam (FIB) and electron beam technology.

Since its establishment 29 years ago, the TESCAN brand has gained a strong reputation for designing and manufacturing scanning electron microscopes and system solutions for micro and nanotechnology and related applications. Its product line caters to various levels of customer needs across fields such as materials science, semiconductors, industry, biology, life sciences, and forensic sciences.

TESCAN China, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TESCAN ORSAY HOLDING based in the Czech Republic, was established in 2009. Headquartered in Shanghai, it serves as both a headquarters and a customer experience center. Customers here receive support from electron microscopy experts and a dedicated team committed to service and technology. The laboratory also offers visiting, training, equipment servicing, and asset management to assist customers in innovative scientific research using some of the world's most advanced instruments.

TESCAN China boasts a substantial installed base with over 700 customers and more than 900 systems across key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Chengdu, Suzhou, Jining, and Zhongshan.
