福海茶厂的前身是勐海县星火茶厂，是中国普洱茶行业的老牌厂家，位列中国普洱茶十大品牌之一。福海茶厂成立于1983年（至今40年），由勐海茶厂的部分管理人员和技术骨干组建，最初专注于生产CTC红碎茶、功夫红条茶等红茶。在此过程中，普洱茶的全发酵工艺逐渐发展和完善。1998年，为适应普洱茶市场的发展需求，更名为福海茶厂，专注于生产普洱茶。
福海茶厂位于风光秀丽的西双版纳普洱茶第一县勐海县城东三公里处，占地面积超过60亩，与著名的南糯山隔山相望。该地区群山环绕，环境优美，是生产优质普洱茶的理想之地。年生产规模达到1500吨，主要产品包括七子饼圆茶、砖茶、沱茶、竹筒茶、金瓜贡茶、笋塔青瓜、各级散茶等十几个大类80余个品种。福海茶厂独特的渥堆发酵熟茶制作工艺，在业内享有盛誉，其熟茶品质卓越，汤色红润透亮，香气纯正自然，口感温厚醇和，条索清晰秀美。
福海茶厂拥有5000亩那达勐有机生态茶叶基地，位于普洱茶核心产区布朗山乡班章山水源地，属于班章黄金产茶区域。
福海茶厂的产品荣获云南省档案馆永久收藏实物档案殊荣，其名牌产品如7266（熟茶）、7576（熟茶）、甲级普洱沱茶（熟茶）、7536（生茶）、班章庄园有机茶（生茶）、布朗山野生大树茶（生茶）、那达勐茶（生茶）等深受消费者好评。
