About LF
Founded amid significant changes in China, LF was established in 1906 by Fung Pak-liu, an English teacher, and Li To-ming, a merchant, making it one of the first companies funded by Chinese capital to export to the West. Initially focusing on trading porcelain and silk from China, LF later diversified into bamboo and rattan ware, jade, and other handicrafts. In 1937, Fung Hon-chu moved from Guangzhou to Hong Kong to establish LF’s first overseas branch, a small team of 12 in Central.
From these modest beginnings, LF now operates one of the world's most extensive global supply chain networks. With over 5,000 employees exporting from more than 50 markets, we leverage our global reach, deep experience, market knowledge, and technology to help brands and retailers respond swiftly to evolving consumer and production trends.
