Arup has over 40 years of experience in Greater China. The Hong Kong office was established in 1976 as the firm's East Asia headquarters, and since then, we have opened offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, and Chongqing, employing over 2,500 professionals. We have undertaken projects ranging from high-rise buildings and large-scale infrastructure to urban planning.

Arup has been involved in the design of some of the most iconic structures in China, such as the Beijing Olympic venues, Shanghai Expo pavilions, Canton Tower, CITIC Tower (China Zun), Raffles City Chongqing, and Beijing Daxing International Airport.
