九台文体活动中心位于九台区南苑大街1200号，该项目占地面积12.28公顷，建筑面积61250平方米。项目包括"三馆两场"，即：体育馆、游泳馆、全民健身中心（综合馆）以及城市文化广场、公共体育广场，是集文化、体育、健身、休闲、餐饮、娱乐、会展、培训等众多现代服务内容于一体的城市综合体，是九台区地标性文化体育基地。
作为九台区的地标性建筑，九台文体活动中心主要建设内容为“三馆两场”。“三馆”为游泳馆、体育馆、综合馆；“两场”为城市文化广场和公共体育场。游泳馆设有1500个座位，50米x25米国际标准泳池一座、25米x21米热身池一座，达到承办省级专业赛事标准。体育馆设有4500个固定座位和1500个移动座位，达到承办国家级专业赛事标准。2019年投入使用后，已连续成功承办了两场CBA联赛赛事和两场全国排球超级联赛赛事，及多场大型文艺演出活动。综合馆（全民健身中心）共计四层。除承担文化传播、体育训练等公共文化、体育服务功能之外，排羽综合馆、乒乓球馆、网球馆、奥飞健身俱乐部等面向社会低收费开放。城市文化广场设有音乐喷泉、健身广场、绿化景观、1500米的智能健身步道等。公共体育广场，外围配有国际标准的400米田径跑道，内设国际标准的足球场地。
九台文体活动中心自建立以来，每年在此举办的各项大小赛事有四十到五十场之多，包括国家级、省级等大型赛事，还有九台区内各企业、单位举办的各项赛事和活动。人流量高达上万人次，已成为凝聚人气、凝聚商气、凝聚公共视野的重要载体。
