The origins of Groupe Cahors trace back to 1910, a period when networks started emerging. This marked the start of a long history that transformed Groupe Cahors (a small factory in 1910 located in Cahors, Southern France) into a multinational corporation with 12 subsidiaries across four continents.
Established in 2004, Qingdao Cahors Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd (QCEE) commenced operations in 2006. Situated in Qingdao, a picturesque coastal city in China, QCEE is a subsidiary of Groupe Cahors.
With technical support from its parent company Groupe Cahors, QCEE manufactures medium and low voltage oil-immersed transformers ranging from 10 kV to 36 kV and annually exports an average of over 5,000 transformers, widely used in power grids in France, Africa, and Europe.
Our primary clients include Électricité de France S.A. (Enedis), AES SONEL, Schneider Electric, and the National Electricity Company of Burkina Faso, among others.
Qingdao Cahors Electric Equipment Co., Ltd, formerly known as Qingdao Tongsifus Electrical Co., Ltd, is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise headquartered in France. The parent company, established in 1910, has grown over nearly 100 years into a global enterprise group with factories worldwide and leading market share for its products globally.
The group’s products are mainly applied in fluid transportation and measurement. In high and low voltage electrical products, power grid monitoring equipment, AMR (automatic meter reading), natural gas connection and metering, water supply system connections, and public telecommunications devices including broadband network and telephone line-related equipment, the applications are extensive. Product categories include medium and low voltage distribution transformers, switchgear, etc.
With technical support from the parent company Groupe Cahors, Qingdao Cahors Electric Equipment produces and sells medium and low voltage 10kV~36kV oil-immersed distribution transformers, with customers primarily distributed across Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia, and China.
