It integrates scientific research, manufacturing, marketing, and services into a comprehensive business group.
Established in the 1980s, the company now boasts assets worth several hundred million yuan with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. It comprises eleven holding subsidiaries, including Luodian Casting, Accessen New Technology, Dongfang Wei'er Air Compressor, Dongfang Wei'er Transmission Equipment, Dongfang Wei'er Motors, Dongfang Wei'er Valves, Dongfang Wei'er Energy Saving Technology, Dongfang Wei'er Pumps, and Shanghai East Pump Group Nantong Co., Ltd. Covering an area of 218,000 square meters, with a building area of 198,000 square meters, the company houses a B-level precision water pump testing center capable of measuring up to a 1.6-meter diameter, 2000KW power, and voltages of 380V, 6600V, and 10000V. In 2009, the group achieved sales of 1.8 billion yuan, ranking it among the top in China’s pump industry.
The company has received numerous accolades, including "Shanghai Famous Brand," "Top 100 Private Enterprises in Shanghai," and "Top 500 Mechanical Enterprises in China." It has also been recognized as a "Contractual Compliance Enterprise in Shanghai," an "A-Class Taxpayer," and an "AAA Credit Enterprise."
Currently, Shanghai East Pump is a high-tech enterprise and a patent pilot unit in Shanghai, featuring a post-doctoral innovation and practice base. With over 200 technical experts and mid-to-senior engineers, including 17 with master's degrees or higher, the company has developed dozens of patented products, such as volute-type double-suction pumps, constant-pressure firefighting pumps, and externally cooled low-noise motors. Additionally, the DFSS and XA clear water pumps have received national energy-saving certification. The BW type pipeline pressure-increasing equipment has been promoted by the Construction Department Science and Technology Development Promotion Center and the Shanghai Construction Commission. The company's shield pumps, submersible pumps, chemical pumps, axial-flow pumps, hot water pumps, high-pressure multi-stage pumps, explosion-proof shielded electric pumps, and oil pumps have all received production licenses from the state. Control cabinets have passed CCC certification, while multiple products have obtained CE and coal safety certifications. Nearly a hundred products have passed ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system certifications.
With branches in over 200 major cities across China, the company employs nearly 2000 professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive pre-sales, sales, and after-sales support.
