KONE Elevators Co., Ltd. was established in Kunshan, China, in December 1996, and is the primary elevator and escalator manufacturing base for the Asia-Pacific region within the KONE Group. In 2013, KONE inaugurated its new Kunshan Park and R&D Center, which is the largest production and R&D base globally, covering an area of 240,000 square meters. Products manufactured here meet both domestic and international demands, exporting to over 90 countries and regions including Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Middle East.
By the end of 2014, KONE China had 50 branches, 60 offices, 368 service sites nationwide, and approximately 10,300 employees.
