Beijing Merial Vital Laboratory Animal Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Merial Vital"), established in 1997, is a joint venture between Merial and Beijing Laboratory Animal Research Center (BLARC), focusing on the production and sales of SPF eggs. Merial Vital is a leading company in SPF chicken production in China, and owns three world-class, fully computer-controlled SPF chicken breeding facilities. The company also has a high-quality professional team with extensive experience in the breeding, raising, quality control, operation, customer service, and personnel management of laboratory animals. Merial Vital can produce approximately 7 million SPF eggs annually that meet the strictest global testing standards. Another new facility is under construction, and once completed, the production capacity will reach 10 million eggs. The SPF eggs produced by the company have stable quality and are used by many research institutions and manufacturers of human and veterinary vaccines in China.
