Golden Arrow, established in August 1998 with simultaneous registration in London, UK and Shanghai, China, takes its name from its founder, Mr. Ji Ti jun. Starting as a humble operation with just a photocopier, computer, printer, fax machine, phone, and occupying 24 square meters, the company persevered through challenges while maintaining zero capital investment, avoiding debt, and building relationships with customers through loyal, dependable, and user-focused services. Over the course of 21 years, Golden Arrow has grown into an education group with 23 branches, nearly 500 employees, and a turnover exceeding two billion yuan, positioning itself among the top large-scale education companies.
Headquartered in West Shanghai's Huabei International Business City, the company operates in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Hangzhou Xiaoshan, Nanjing, Quzhou, Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Changsha, Dalian, Zhengzhou, Foshan, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Qingdao, Xining, Haining, Haikou, and Cambridge, UK, among others. In 2018, Golden Arrow partnered with Eight Dragon International, significantly strengthening its access to resources at Australian universities, including the eight leading Australian universities, and Eight Dragon's global network of 16 offices. This partnership enhanced Golden Arrow's capabilities in providing competitive overseas university resources, including the UK, Australia, the US, Canada, and services across China and other countries.
The company offers contracts with a vast majority of UK universities, including prestigious institutions like London School of Economics, all 39 Australian universities, numerous popular secondary schools and TAFE colleges, and nearly 100 American and Canadian universities and secondary schools.
A dedicated team comprises most senior advisors who are either graduates of overseas institutions or have undergone international training. The company is recognized by the Ministry of Education as having special authorization for overseas student consultancy, with "Beijing Yanren Information Consulting Co., Ltd." holding the "教外综资认字[2000]160号" license. The majority of Golden Arrow's staff (60%) are returnees, and all other education consultants have undergone overseas training.
