Beihang University (Beihang) was founded in 1952. It is a multi-disciplinary, open, and research-oriented university with distinctive features in aerospace technology and engineering. The School of Economics and Management (SEM) of Beihang University originated from the Aviation Engineering Economics Department established in 1956. It is one of the first management departments in China's universities of science and engineering. Over decades of development, it has achieved remarkable success, cultivating more than 6,000 undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows, providing a large number of talents for China's aerospace industry and national economic construction.
