1. 从俄罗斯进口铁矿粉，主要通过满洲里、绥芬河和珲春口岸。已与金属投资和欧洲化工两家公司建立合作关系，并正与北方钢铁公司洽谈中。2017年6月，公司在犹太自治州投产了一座年产300万吨铁矿粉的矿山，目前正研究国内代理销售事宜。俄罗斯铁矿粉主要销往东北地区的钢厂，现已与双鸭山建龙钢铁及北满特钢建立了代理采购关系，获得乌兰浩特钢厂代理采购委托书，正在开发吉林通化钢铁的代理采购业务，预计年销售量约为50万吨。
2. 从蒙古国进口铁矿石，主要通过二连浩特口岸。主要销售对象包括山西建邦钢铁和宣化钢铁公司等，预计年销售量约50万吨。
鉴于当前大宗物资市场价格波动频繁，经营风险增加，五矿萝北国际贸易有限公司计划通过贸易链模式最大限度地降低经营风险。当收到钢厂的全额保证金后，公司会直接向国外供应商开具国际信用证，国外供应商在收到国际信用证后向陆路口岸发货，并将远期信用证提交给边境贸易公司。货物到达口岸前，要求钢厂补足剩余货款，然后分批发货给钢厂。五矿萝北国际贸易有限公司将与口岸地区具有较强实力的货运代理公司合作，公司派遣人员与货运代理共同处理货物和单据的衔接工作。公司仅委托货运代理报关报检，放货指令由公司自行下达，确保货物安全并全程掌控货权。
