SKF (Shanghai) Automotive Technologies Co., Ltd. (ATC for short), established at the end of 2005, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SKF Group in China. Located in the Shanghai International Auto Town Spare Parts Industrial Park in Jiading District, Shanghai, ATC covers an area of 25,000 square meters with a construction area of 17,000 square meters and employs approximately 500 staff.

ATC primarily produces hub bearing units including HBU generation 1, HBU generation 2, and HBU generation 3, small taper roller bearings (STRB), and suspension bearings. The company maintains long-term stable relationships with renowned domestic and international automotive manufacturers such as Shanghai General Motors, Wuhan Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company (DPCA), Chongqing Ford, SAIC Motor, Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, Wuhu Chery, and Shenyang Brilliance.

Equipped with advanced hardware facilities, including bearing manufacturing machines and testing equipment from the SKF global testing center, ATC boasts a high-quality team of production, quality control, technical, and management personnel. In 2009, ATC obtained the TS16949 certification for its automotive quality management system from Lloyd's, passed the ISO14001 environmental management system and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system audits by DNV, and was awarded the Ford Q1 certificate in November 2011.

ATC focuses on both quality and management excellence while maintaining a strong sense of corporate social responsibility, contributing to environmental protection, sustainable development, and social responsibility. Guided by the SKF vision and mission, ATC employees continuously work on innovation in technology, processes, and management through 6 Sigma projects to achieve manufacturing excellence with "five zeros": zero accidents, zero defects, zero breaches of promise, zero losses, and zero waste. This commitment ensures ATC consistently performs at the top of the Car Chassis factories within the SKF Automotive Division.

To meet growing customer demands, ATC is expanding its production capacity with a second-phase project on a newly purchased plot. The new plant, which includes expanded operations for ATC and the SKF Technology Center, is operational at No. 1189 Yuanqi Road, Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai.
