湖北午时药业股份有限公司创建于1970年6月，原名为安陆制药厂。1997年经股份制改造后更名为湖北午时药业股份有限公司。公司拥有固定资产2.4亿元，拥有12万平方米现代化生产基地和强大的中西药生产能力。主要设备1750台（套），全国销售人员10000余人，已取得药品生产批文144个，国家级新药证书12个。
公司专注于制药产业发展，坚持传统中药与现代西药相结合的道路，于2015年一次性整体通过国家食品药品监督管理局新版GMP认证。金银花露和午时茶颗粒多次荣获“湖北名牌产品”称号；“金刚藤糖浆”、“良园枇杷叶膏”、“健身长春膏”等被评为“国家中药保护品种”，另有全国独家品种“龙芪颗粒”于2009年获得国家新药证书，为公司拥有完全自主知识产权的中药6类新药。
