Established in 1930, OMS Antriebstechnik has two entities in Dalian Development Area, P.R.China: OMS Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd., and MitecJebsen Automotive Systems (Dalian) Co., Ltd.

OMS Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the German company OMS Antriebstechnik, which is a global leader in the development and production of drive systems for escalators and elevators. In 1997, combining decades of experience in gear manufacturing and close collaboration with its sister company Mitec AG, a technical breakthrough was achieved in the elevator sector, leading to the development of hypoid-bevel gear technology.

Headquartered in Cornberg, Hessen, Germany, OMS Antriebstechnik houses its innovative R&D department and production facilities here. OMS products are widely utilized by major elevator and escalator manufacturers, including OTIS, Schindler, ThyssenKrupp, Kone, Hitachi, CNIM, and many others.
