In 2014, KONE had annual net sales of €7.3 billion and employed over 47,000 people in nearly 60 countries. The company's B-class shares are listed on the Nasdaq OMX Helsinki Ltd in Finland.

KONE in China

KONE Elevator Co., Ltd. was established in Kunshan, China in December 1996 and is the primary elevator and escalator manufacturing base for the Asia-Pacific region within the KONE Group. In 2013, KONE celebrated the official opening of its new Kunshan Park and R&D Center. It is the largest production and R&D base for KONE globally, spanning 240,000 square meters. KONE China not only meets domestic demand but also exports products to more than 90 countries and regions such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Middle East.

By the end of 2014, KONE had 50 branches, 60 offices, 368 service sites nationwide, and approximately 10,300 employees.
