In the fiscal year 2023, Marquardt achieved a revenue of 1.4 billion euros. They invest approximately 10% of their revenue annually into research and development.

Marquardt Electronics Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Marquardt Group, was established in Heqing Industrial Area, Pudong, Shanghai, in 1996. After years of expansion and development, Marquardt Shanghai now occupies 20,000 square meters with state-of-the-art R&D and production facilities. By the end of 2020, they had over 1,000 employees and were consistently recognized as one of the best employers in the Heqing area. With two business areas—Automotive and Switches, Sensors & Controls (SSC)—they have achieved double-digit sales growth and become a major player in these sectors in China. Over two decades, Marquardt has built long-term business relationships with numerous global leaders in the Asian market. To meet the future demand for battery management systems, a second location in China was established in 2018. Marquardt Switches (Weihai) Co., Ltd. spans 30,000 square meters in the Weihai International Port Economic & Technological Development Zone.
