职位描述

Purpose of the Position:
The Business Analyst PM (mainly for Asia) is responsible for supporting the strategic and operational management of the product portfolio across the region. This includes supporting to drive top-line growth, optimize gross margins, and translate global product strategies into actionable regional plans.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Strategy & Optimization
a. Support the development and execution of regional product line strategies aligned with global objectives.
b. Conduct regular assessments of the product mix to ensure alignment with market demand and profitability targets.
c. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize including rationalizing the PM portfolio.
2. Margin Management
a. Analyze pricing structures and cost drivers to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
b. Recommend strategic pricing actions in alignment with the global pricing managers and RPM’s. Support the implementation of value based pricing in the region Asia
3. Pipeline Development & Commercialization
a. Support initiatives to expand market reach and accelerate pipeline conversion.
b. Support the commercialization of new products and enhancements tailored to APAC market needs.
4. Regional Product Development
a. Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to steer product developments specific to Asia region
b. Collect market insights and customer feedback for the RPM’s to guide innovation and product adaptation.
5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
a. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify threats and opportunities.
b. Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and differentiation.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
a. Work closely with Global Business Line, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance/Controlling to ensure cohesive execution of product strategies.
Requirements:
61 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
61 Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or commercial roles within B2B industrial or specialty materials sectors.
61 Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
61 Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
61 Good Excel and PowerBI skills are of advantage
61 Fluent in English; Chinese speaking is a plus.
